Today, I’m thrilled to share a holiday/special occasion Hailey family gathering staple! These Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Glaze have become a family favorite because they are simple to prepare and the family loves them. They are packed with rich flavors of garlic and olive oil, and the balsamic glaze adds a sweet, tangy touch. These Brussels sprouts are crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. And yes, they are as fun (besides all of the individual cutting of brussels) to make as they are to eat. Let’s dive into the recipe!

Ingredients:

For the Brussels Sprouts:

  • 2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of minced garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

For the Balsamic Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • Small Sauce Pan – All-Clad D3 3-Ply Stainless Steel Sauce Pan 3 Quart

Instructions:

Step One – Prepare the Brussels Sprouts: Cut small slice off stock of Brussels and then slice in half longways and combine Brussels sprouts, olive oil, minced garlic, and salt in a bowl. Toss well to coat evenly.

Step Two – Roast the Brussels Sprouts: Arrange the sprouts on a baking sheet, cut side down, and roast in a preheated oven at 400°F for 30 minutes until they are browned and tender.

Step Three – Make the Glaze: While the sprouts are roasting, combine balsamic vinegar and honey in a saucepan. Simmer until the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.

Step Four – Finish the Dish: Drizzle the warm balsamic glaze over the roasted Brussels sprouts.


Serving Suggestions:

Enjoy these Brussels sprouts as a side dish with your favorite protein. They’re also great in salads!


Storage Tips:

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Best reheated in an air fryer.
